Almost 20yrs ago, we were shifted into a cold icy wonderland referred to as Ice Storm '98. Our communities came together and so we shall again. Next month I am hosting an Ice Storm 20th anniversary celebratory weekend. It is open to all and any fees are minimal (fees are just to help cover rental/insurance/food costs). Plan to join us in one of the harder hit wards of the City. We will have a Trivia Night with Connie Johnston and a fundraising silent auction on Thursday, family movie night and social time on Friday, a vendor sale, outdoor activities, bonfire with Ottawa Fire Services, the Boom Street Team will be onsite, a chili dinner, and age of majrity dance on Saturday, breakfast and Ecumenical Church Service on Sunday.
