The Ottawa Hospital is hoping that Artificial Intelligence will help reduce physician burnout and increase access to care for patients. This week, it became the first-ever Canadian hospital to give the DAX Co-Pilot Software a trial run. It’s a Microsoft-built solution that uses A.I. to create draft clinical notes for doctors during patient appointments. Dr. Virginia Roth explains how it works in Hour 2. The trial of serial killer Jeremy Skibicki heard Thursday that police found physical evidence of the victims in his apartment, including jewelry, clothing, DNA and a blood-stained bathtub.Const. Jan de Vries, who was part of the police search team, testified they found bloodstains in Skibicki’s bathroom belonging to one of the victims, Rebecca Contois.Some stains were visible while others were found using a spray that makes stains fluorescent when used with a black light, he said.
