In a heartwarming display of affection, a viral video has captured the loving reunion between a pair of trumpeter swan mates as they reunite after spending a few days apart.

Good morning,McGill University has threatened to call in police to dismantle an encampment as pro-Palestinian protests are spreading across Canadian university campuses.McGill declared the encampment on its campus illegal and denounced alleged antisemitic behaviour among protesters, who remained peaceful over the weekend while the number of tents increased significantly. The protesters are demanding that the university divest from companies “supporting or complicit in the current genocide and occupation of Palestine.”

The call for applications, which was targeted to self-identified Indigenous candidates, seemed typical at first. But then came strange questions: “Do you have a favourite Indigenous story and/or tradition?” The posting also invited applicants to submit a video cover letter and suggested they “dress in traditional regalia or bring in back-up dancers!”
