I thought people might appreciate finding out what is happening at Queen's Park, and what I am up to in the riding.

So, I present to you my first audio blog and hope to have a new one every week. When Queen's Park resumes I will talk about what bills were discussed that week and my opinion on why I support/don't support each one.

I call the podcast "Now You Know Jack". I hope you enjoy it. I'll try and keep each episode to 5-7 minutes.

I look forward to your comments.

Episode #1

In the inaugural installment of "Now You Know Jack" podcasts, I discuss my involvement as a sitting member on the Select Committee on Developmental Services. The committee will investigate and address the urgent need for a comprehensive developmental services strategy to address the needs of children, youth and adults in Ontario with an intellectual disability or who are dually diagnosed with an intellectual disability and a mental illness.

We have now wrapped up our hearings. The Committee shall present an interim report to the House no later than February 26, 2014, and a final report no later than May 15, 2014.
