Loloa is a child that was killed by Ubaydullah Ibn Umar, the son of the second Islamic Caliph, for a crime she has not commited. It was alleged that her father had stabbed the Caliph Omar Ibn Al-khattab.

Except for Muslim minorities that followed Ali Ibn Abi Talib, the only man back then who condemned the killing of children, even today the majority of Islamic educational programs in the Arab world--Turkey, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia--do not condemn this particular crime. In fact, it is considered a blasphemy to criticise the deeds  of the second Caliph or his son.

This, unfortunately, gives the barbaric practice of massacring children historical legitimacy, which is often mirrored by extremist groups.
